This timepiece left me breathless, personally I have not encountered anything remotely close to the beautiful sensuality of the Blancpain Tourbillon Volant Heure Sautante Minute Rétrograde. I’m in love.

This 42mm timepiece offers a Flying Tourbillon „Mysterieuse” by removing the only left lower tourbillon bridge and replace it with a sapphire glass disc. The effect is just amazing.

The Grand Feu Enamel dial executed in the traditional champlevé technique, means the solid gold base for the dial is hollowed out in different compartments, to be filled with multiple layers of enamel, which then gets handpainted. The gold rings for the jumping hour and the Tourbillon porthole are just the icing on the cake.

The watch is available in platinum and rose gold, and the feedback I heard from visitors during the fair was, that it already is a huge success (no surprise) and widely considered as the star of the show (well deserved imho).

The movement is hand decorated with a very nice guilloché, offering a very subtle indication for the power reserve.
