It’s time to start the annual overview on Blancpain novelties, which are supposed to be released at different points throughout the year. As in previous years this overview will be updated whenever new models are released, and as usual I will try to do my best to provide hands-on photos of many new timepieces as soon as possible.

The 2026 Saint Valentine
Today, January 29, Blancpain introduced their already 26th iteration of the annual Saint Valentine timepiece.

This limited to only 14 pieces Saint Valentine comes in a 21.5mm white gold case and features a nacre perlée dial with a hear cut diamond on the 12 o’clock position. The watch is powered by the automatic caliber 615 with only 15,7mm in diameter, featuring an engraved heart on the rotor.

The Villeret Calendrier Chinois Traditionnel “Year of the Horse”
Today, January 19, Blancpain introduced this year’s annual edition of the Traditional Chinese Calendar, which is actually already the 15th iteration of this splendid complication. The 45mm platinum case houses a salmon rose Grand Feu enamel dial, a first for Blancpain.

The winding mass, created by the Manufacture’s Metiers d’Art workshop, features a galloping horse, treading upon a flying swallow, an invocation of Tianma, the Heavenly Horse of Chinese Imperial legend. The backside also shows the aesthetically superior under-lug-correctors for setting the calendar functions, a Blancpain signature element since 2005.
